Even digital cameras have look and a feel to their image quality. While the resolution and dynamic range of some modern day cameras exceeded that of traditional film, some still strive to recreate the organic nature of a photograph that is so etched in our brains (depending on your age)! Films such as Kodak, Fuji, Ilford and Polaroid had their own characteristics that professionals used to define their own "character" and style through filtration and processing techniques.
Today, many professionals strive to define their style and use digital tools to emulate the past characteristics of film. Pretty ironic actually.
What does all this really mean to you as a client? Nothing really until you see what professional photography can do for your presentation. BRAND pros has the experience and talent to use these tools appropriately to match your image style to what you are trying to accomplish. In a world of constant visual bombardment, you need to be special and different to stand out.
We can help.
The tools we use vary based on the project, file size required, and of course style. And yes, we still shoot film on occasion.
The most innovative tool we have in our bag of tricks is the RED Dragon 6k digital cinema camera. It produces arguably one of the best digital image files the world has ever seen. It's a motion picture camera that allows us to take extremely high quality still frames from the footage. This save you time and money when you need both. Plus, it keeps your visuals consistent.
Next in our still photo arsenal is the Pentax Ricoh medium format camera. It shoots beautiful 51.4MP files and is weatherproof. We use this exclusively for large scale displays and our specialty museum quality fine art landscape images.
Finally, we have a vast array of Canon and Nikon bodies and lenses selected primarily on the look and feel we are trying to create.
All these tools mean nothing if not in the hands of an experienced visual artist. BRAND pros are the right hands.
